In the latest session of Eric Glazer’s Bright Spots in Healthcare webinars (one of my favorites), “MA Strategy Session: What Actually Drives Long-Term Viability,” Mike Rapach, Jen Cohen-Smith and Joshua Meeks reinforced a message I strongly believe in, both as a board member of an MA plan and as an entrepreneur.
MA Long-term viability relies on fundamentals, not quick fixes:
1. Execution. Execution. Execution.
2. Relentless focus on member engagement, especially for hard-to-reach and high-risk populations.
3. A longitudinal approach and alignment around core operating and goals, not short-term fixes.
At Twig Health, we see this again and again: when organizations approach care operations through these lenses, the results can be game-changing for the plan.
“When the going gets tough, disciplined operators get going.”
