I say this as a health plan board member, not just a vendor: QM and CM are the most accessible, highest-leverage tools we have to absorb a federal or state squeeze and rising costs. One investment moves multiple numbers at once – quality-based payments, MLR, member satisfaction, retention. Few other levers do that.
What’s changed is the speed. With AI-guided solutions and new CM/QM models, the impact is no longer a multi-year build – it can be immediate and decisive. We’ve watched partners double and triple the performance of their programs, even across their most challenging populations.
But the tools alone don’t do it. It takes the will to act – and the willingness to rethink how CM and QM actually get done.
