Amir Kishon, PhD
CEO & Co-FounderAmir is Twig Health’s co-Founder, CEO and Chairman. He is a digital health industry veteran and serial entrepreneur with 20+ years experience spearheading technology innovation in digital health and digital therapeutics. Previously, he was founder of RMDY Health, a digital therapeutics platform company that was recently sold to OptimizeRx (OPRX).
Amir serves on the Board of MJHS and Elderplan, one of the most expansive, not-for-profit health systems in the greater New York area. Prior to RMDY, Amir was co-founder and CEO of SoftWatch, a CRM solution for the pharmaceutical industry (acquired by eWave). Amir holds a PhD in Computer Science from Yale. He is a passionate student of Buddhism and enjoys yoga, diving, skiing and producing theater.
Hemi Weingarten
COO & Co-FounderHemi is a serial entrepreneur, with 15+ years of experience in the health and wellness space. Most recently, he was founder and CEO of Fooducate, a nutrition and weight loss app that was recognized as best mobile health app by the US Surgeon General, among others. Fooducate was acquired in 2022.
Hemi holds a BSC degree in computer engineering (cum laude) and an MBA. He has been a mentor at various startup incubators and accelerators for over a decade, including Microsoft, Techstars, Intel, and others. Hemi is an avid ultra trail runner and world traveler.
Ami Klein
CTO & Co-FounderBefore joining Twig as CTO, Ami was CTO of RMDY Health, a digital therapeutics SaaS solution provider (acquired by OptimizeRx). Prior to RMDY, Ami was R&D Manager at Scepia, the largest internet development company in Israel, where he oversaw development and technology innovation services for 70+ industrial and government websites. Ami also held leading roles at Elity Systems, a US-based software company, and Heliogram, a subsidiary of RGTI.
Ami holds a BS in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
Jenifer Santander, RN, BSN, BSIST, PMP
Director, Nurse OperationsJen is a clinical operations leader with over 14 years of healthcare experience spanning digital health, telemedicine, and value-based care. At Twig Health, Jenifer has built and scaled the clinical team from the ground up, supporting more than 20,000 patients across multiple commercial contracts. She developed and implemented scalable care protocols, optimized workflows, and collaborated with product and engineering teams to design innovative patient support systems for asynchronous (SMS) and remote patient monitoring programs.
Jenifer also has played a pivotal role in client acquisition, actively contributing to sales discussions and pilot program launches. With her background in nursing, healthcare IT, and project management, she excels at driving operational excellence, building cross-functional teams, and delivering patient-centered care solutions in fast-paced growth environments.
Axelle Rimpel BSN, RN
Manager of Clinical OperationsAxelle brings over 15 years of nursing experience in telemetry and stepdown care to her role at Twig. She earned her nursing degree from the University of Miami and later transitioned into clinical analytics and operations leadership.
Since joining Twig nearly two years ago, Axelle has served as Manager of Clinical Operations, where she leads and supports remote clinical teams, ensures high-quality patient engagement, and streamlines workflows for efficiency and consistency. She is passionate about her work and finds it deeply rewarding to contribute to both patient care and clinician success.
Outside of work, Axelle enjoys spending time with her young son and family, traveling to new destinations and collecting Haitian art. These experiences bring her joy, purpose and a sense of balance to her daily life.
Monica Feliz, MA
Manager of Clinical OperationsMonica Feliz is a dedicated and detail-oriented Care Coordination Medical Assistant with over 20 years of experience in healthcare. She is committed to enhancing patient outcomes through effective care coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Currently, Monica supports clinical operations at Twig Health, where she ensures efficiency, consistency, and high-quality engagement across teams. Bilingual in Spanish and known for her strong interpersonal skills, Monica builds meaningful rapport with patients and families while advocating for their needs. She is deeply passionate about helping every patient she comes across, consistently striving to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care.
Morgan Schweikert, CCMA
Manager of Clinical OperationsMorgan brings over 17 years of healthcare experience to her role at Twig, with a strong background in clinical care, quality improvement, and operations leadership. She is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant who has served as both a Value-Based Care Quality Specialist and a Program Manager in Risk Adjustment, where she led projects that improved workflows, strengthened provider relationships, and enhanced patient outcomes.
At Twig, Morgan supports clinical operations by ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality engagement across care teams. She is passionate about building processes that empower clinicians, improve patient experiences, and drive better health outcomes for diverse populations.
Jamilyn Ellis, RN
Manager of Clinical OperationsJamilyn is a seasoned Registered Nurse and healthcare leader with over two decades of experience spanning emergency care, case management, IV therapy, and clinical operations. At Twig Health, Jamilyn plays a pivotal role in optimizing care delivery workflows, supporting remote nursing teams, and enhancing patient engagement through innovative technology and clinical excellence. Her leadership helps bridge the gap between traditional healthcare and modern digital solutions, ensuring that members receive high-touch, personalized care at scale.
Prior to joining Twig, Jamilyn held leadership roles at Restore Hyper Wellness and Whydrate, where she specialized in IV hydration therapy, micronutrient administration, and protocol development. Her background also includes extensive experience in emergency departments, home health, case management, and remote triage services, making her uniquely equipped to lead in dynamic, tech-enabled healthcare environments.
Leslie Taylor, CCMA
Clinical Training ManagerLeslie has years of experience on the administrative side of healthcare, specializing in project management, authorizations, and reducing denial metrics. She has also contributed to training, quality assurance, and the development of resources to support both employees and patient care. As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, she brings hands-on insight into patient care.
What drives Leslie the most is a passion for helping others – not just performing her role, but making a real difference in patient care. She thrives on improving processes and workflows so that patients can progress and succeed, and healthcare teams can deliver the highest quality care.
Nicole Mendez, MA
Manager of Clinical OperationsNicole is a healthcare professional currently serving as a medical assistant and manager while pursuing her nursing degree to expand her clinical expertise. She holds a bachelor’s degree and brings over eight years of experience across Family Practice, Pediatrics, OB-GYN, Geriatrics, Mental Health, and Palliative Care.
Nicole played a key role in initiating a Palliative Care program in Central Florida and supporting its expansion into the western region, reflecting her leadership and commitment to improving patient access to quality care. Dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care, she strives to ensure individuals feel heard, respected, and well-informed throughout their healthcare journeys.
